Our system performs a smooth application of the tape and plates, in order to avoid air bubbles entrapment, by using a special roller exerting a calibrated and correct pressure, especially when combined with a double-sided adhesive tape with a specific irregular pattern embossed surface, like our BS MOUNT series.

This operation may cause damage to the sleeve and also consequent adhesive residues remaining on the sleeve.
The TPMM cutting system calculates exactly the length of the tape to be used to wrap the sleeve according to the data provided by the special sensor, and it automatically cuts the tape away from the sleeve on the side shelf.
When the tape is applied manually, some gaps inevitably appear between the strips because it is impossible to conduct this operation with absolute precision.
These gaps may have different shapes and they will create problems during the printing process.
